# Sessions

The Sessions report lists every individual play of your tracks and labs. Use it to see who played what, when, and how the play ended.

To open it, select **Reporting** in the left navigation, then select **Sessions**.

### The table

Each row is one play. The columns are:

* **Content** – the name of the track or lab, with the content type below it.
* **User**
* **Progress**
* **Time spent**
* **Started**

### Filters

* Date range
* Play type
* Tracks
* Labs
* Invites
* Landing pages
* Users
* Tags
* Custom parameters – the `icp_` parameters passed through embeds

### Play details

Select a play to open its details. The panel has up to three tabs.

**Overview**

* Play statistics: progress, time spent and when the play started.
* Where the play came from: invite, landing page, embed, test or direct, and the referrer.
* Play type: normal or developer.
* Whether the play started from a Hot Start.
* How the play ended: the user completed the content, the user stopped it, the play timed out because of inactivity, or the time limit ran out.
* The user's feedback rating and any custom parameters.

Select **See all user activity** to open the user in the Users report.

**User details** Information about the user. Shown only when the play includes user information.

**Activity log** A timeline of the user's actions, with a timestamp for each entry.

* For tracks: Track started, Challenge #N started, attempt, completed or skipped, Track completed and Track stopped.
* For labs: Lab started, Task #N and Quiz #N started, attempt, completed, failed or skipped, Lab completed and Lab stopped. Task and quiz entries show the page title. Chapters and pages don't create entries of their own.

### Exporting

Select **Download CSV** to export one row per play for the current filters. The file includes both tracks and labs.

**Note:** In the CSV export, `duration_seconds` (time spent) and `time_paused_seconds` are in seconds, not hours. To convert to hours, divide by 3,600.
