Use template tracks
We have created a library of tracks you can learn from. Hit the ground running with our fully functioning example tracks, including a simple container sandbox, a virtual machine, or a Kubernetes cluster.
For example, our Kubernetes template shows you how to:
  • Embed the Kubernetes dashboard in a tab
  • Deploy a service and embed it in a tab
  • Configure kubectl auto completion for learners
  • Use the setup script to block the first challenge from loading
In a template, we’ve done all the wiring for you so you can focus on creating your content.

Available templates

Sandbox container Get started quickly with a container-based sandbox host. Choose a container when you need a fast, lightweight Linux system.
Sandbox virtual machine This template shows you how to use a Virtual Machine (VM). VMs can be used when you need more compute and memory or for running Docker containers.
Kubernetes Learn how to build Kubernetes-based tracks with this template. The template provides a single-node, lightweight Kubernetes instance running k3s (
Multi-node Kubernetes cluster Setup a Kubernetes cluster on multiple sandbox hosts. This template provides a three-node k3s cluster with a server node and two worker nodes.
